Microsoft plans for a new desktop application API is confusing

WPF is still best. I tried to use UWP a few years ago. I discovered that you could not make a desktop application with it. It was only mobile style apps. When Microsoft had high hopes for Windows phone it was not stupid it was only bad. Now they are going to make something new again. I dont really understand it. I expect it to take many years before it is as good as WPF.

For UWP we have been in a constant state of ‘catching up’ on core functionality, and never being able to. While for Win32 we have been in a state of non-innovation, leaving developers behind because we have focused on bringing new features only to UWP where we can guarantee that guardrails are in place. We heard you – this situation is not making anyone happy and moving between the two worlds is hard,

The UK government is going to do more spying on the limey faggots

In a memorandum [PDF] first spotted by The Guardian, the British government is asking that five more public authorities be added to the list of bodies that can access data scooped up under the nation’s mass-surveillance laws: the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, the Environment Agency, the Insolvency Service, the UK National Authority for Counter Eavesdropping (UKNACE), and the Pensions Regulator.

The limey faggots have to be careful about which websites they visit.

Facebook will do anything to do business in a country

Updated Facebook has given in to Vietnamese government demands, and agreed to remove any content considered ‘anti-state’ after telcos in the nation reportedly cut off access to the social network’s systems.

Jew Mark knew what he had to do. Every market is important.

I have always suspected that Rita Oras blonde hair was fake

Rita is not as good singer as Dua Lipa. I wonder if Dua and Rita have ever met. They are both from Pristina. Rita have started to talk more about Kosovo now. It seemed before like she wanted to hide that she was from Kosovo.

I tried again to get Hello for business to work

Why must it be so damn complicated. 😠Yesterday it was nearly working. After i logged in a screen came up and wanted me to chose sign in options. I got it to accept my finger print. When i logged in the next time there was something wrong again. Microsoft have instructions for how you must do the installation. It goes on with you must do this and you must have that. If you dont have this click on this link and then you get one more long page of instructions. Often there are more links to pages about what you must do. I dont understand everything written on those pages.

I use a backup program called Duplicati

I believe it will be great when they get it to be reliable. I have used it for one year on one computer. Tonight i decided to test if i would get my files back by a restore. I restored 30000 files. I got all except one file back. Some Visual studio temp file was different. I dont know why. Duplicati told me that the file was not restored correct. I checked with FreeFileSync. FreeFileSync can compare contents of files. Maybe it was not Duplicatis fault that the file was different. Duplicati do backups the right way. It splits the files into blocks and save the blocks. The old backup programs tried with saving complete files. It is not good enough today.
