The world faces many challenges over the coming decades, but one of the most significant will be how to feed its expanding global population. By 2050, there will be about 10 billion of us, and how to feed us all, healthily and from sustainable food sources, is something that is already being looked at. The Norway-based thinktank Eat and the British journal the Lancet have teamed up to commission an in-depth, worldwide study, which launches at 35 different locations around the world today, into what it would take to solve this problem – and the ambition is huge.

People will not accept this. People like to eat meat. I am sure the chinese and indians are waiting for be able to buy some nice meat more often. It is not surprising that we dont get more than 7 grams each. There is going to be a lot of people in this world by 2050. They had to give everybody the same amount.

A full month’s diet plan would be a better illustration, given that the daily ration of red meat stands at 7g (with an allowable range of 0-14g); unless you are creative enough to make a small steak feed two football sides and their subs, you will only be eating one once a month.

Fuck that. I want much more meat than that.

What is Maduros shitcoin really worth. Does it even exists. It is not even clear if Maduro is president in Venezuela now.

I always see the oil backed claim when reading about the Petro. You are not going be able exchange petros for oil. It is not clear in what way it is oil backed.

I dont understand why Maduro talks a lot about the petro when it seem to not exist. It was a stupid idea from the start.

They just pointed out some bad oil field and have no plans to get the oil out of the ground.

It seems to be hard to sell petros. If you have bought petros you cant do anything with them.

I have read about Venezuelas cryptocurrency Petro. From the start i have wished it would fail. Maybe it is only a thing to get money from idiots. I dont understand why anybody would like to buy Petro. It is not oil backed like they want us to believe. There is a hard to understand formula in the whitepaper. That could be only for the price of buying. You will not be able to exchange Petros for oil. It is hard to know what is really happening. Most news sites only repeats what the Venezuelan government writes. If they say it is oil backup some people write that it is oil backed without think about if that is really true. The Petro is supposed to fund a lot of things. It is housing for the poor and some other things i have forgot. Venezuelan president have asked people to help with mining. The petro is pre-mined. I dont know what the miners are supposed to do. I doubt that much is happening with the petro. It is just the president talking a lot.
